Dette er spesielt nyttig der det er behov for h\u00f8yoppl\u00f8selige sub-bunnprofilerdata, noe som krever at systemet slepes n\u00e6r havbunnen. 2050-DSS er et trefrekvens-sideekkolodd-system, der to valgfrie frekvenser kan brukes samtidig. Systemet kan leveres med enten en 120, 410 og 850 kHz slepefisk eller en 230, 540 og 850 kHz slepefisk. Begge slepefiskalternativene er utstyrt med en 2-16 kHz sub-bunnprofiler, som bruker en PVDF-mottakshydrofon.
